Connie’s focus is on enhancing community outcomes.
Connie has a Bachelor of Social Science (Social Welfare) and has worked in a variety of areas including child protection, community health and community development.
During her time at HNEAH as a project officer and in management she gained a strong understanding and passion for primary health care issues including childhood obesity and inactivity.
Connie has facilitated a number of programs for young people and has a strong understanding of the factors impacting Aboriginal communities, including engagement and participation risks working with remote and metropolitan communities.
Connie is a mother of 2 children in primary school and along side her husband they farm industrial hemp.
